My last exam.
My last ever exam.
I am stunned.
I think I expected fireworks or some such dramatic cliche. I do feel elated, and yet terribly tired. All that I have been suppressing in order to complete my examinations is now clamouring for my attention. I see those about me jumping and squealing, and I feel quite, quite distant from it all.
It is a nice day, and will still be light for some time. Would anybody care to join me by the lake for a more calm celebration of our freedom? Ah! Bring instruments, and we can play together. I have missed music.
