Introduction for au_muses
I'm Cedric Diggory. I'm not famous for anything.
That's probably not something most people feel the need to point out, but when you get to know me you'll see why people expect me to be famous.
I'm in my 7th year at Hogwarts, Captain and Seeker of the Hufflepuff Quidditch team and a prefect. All those things together gives people this idea that I'm boring but I don't worry all that much about what other people think. I work hard and try to make my family and my house proud of me.
In 5th year I went out with Cho Chang for about three months. They were three of the longest months of my entire life. So you shouldn't listen to anybody who talks about me and Cho being together. I don't know why those rumors are still around. She's a very nice girl, but she's not my type.
I'm entering my name in the Triwizard Tournament. I'm excited and scared at once. I wasn't going to enter the Tournament except that my Head of House and Headmaster Dumbledore talked me into it. Now that I know why Dumbledore was so invested in me putting my name in, I'm pretty ticked. I don't like being lied to or manipulated. Especially when someone's trying to use me to manipulate someone I'm close to. It's not the Hufflepuff way and it goes against who I am.
Turns out that he wanted me to talk Harry out of putting his name into the Goblet of Fire because of the threat from Voldemort.
Why would I be able to talk Harry Potter out of anything?
Oh, right. He's my boyfriend.
