I see Quentin's posts getting a lot of heat. I thought, why not give him a little break and take some of that heat myself? So, upon thinking that, I decided to post some good things about good ol' President Bush. Umm... tell me exactly what you would do, yeah? Would you just burst out of there without a plan? He sat there for a MERE 10 minutes!! And he's being censured for that!? I mean cmon, the guy had to think of something to do. And whatever views of the "ideal" president you may have, no one person, not even Einstein, could come up with a great solution right at the moment. And plus, would he just burst out of there, create a scene, and scare the hell out of first graders? Oh, and you keep saying that everyone hates you guys for what he is "doing" -- what is he "doing" exactly? And where does one get the statistic telling them that he is Cheney's and Daddy's little puppet?
You do make relevent points, however, he is messing with the constitution at times, and that is totally not cool, and this malpractice of his power must end. And yeah, he has done many corrupt things, but hasn't every president? Why must this one man be subjected to more critisizm than any other president? You KNOW that once Kerry gets into power, if he does, it'll be a little while before the nation turns against him, right?
And about Micheal Moore and Jim Hightower, I'm perfectly aware of what kind of stuff they write -- it's all one sided. And that just doesn't appeal to me. To make a convincing argument, one must realize both sides, not just one. And it's perfectly clear that neither of them realize both sides. They'll just keep reiterating how stupid Bush is, which is just juvinile.
And Gabi, cmon, do you think that I ever meant to offend you? Really? If you don't see that, then I have no idea what to say.
