So I saw the doctor today who put me back together. After a few more x-rays and a cursory exam this is what I get to expect:
Three weeks from now another exam, if everything is going like it is the contraption on my heel comes off and I start learning to walk again
The staples on the incision in my arm (through which they put everything back together in there) were removed today, this means no more chafing with my slab (half cast)
I should be able to over the next few weeks take my slab off from time to time and start working on my arm movement. Straightening and bending my elbow as well as load bearing.
I now also have my wheel chair which means I can go around outside (once it warms a little more)
And I have a chair for my shower which makes it easier to clean myself.
I am on the road to recovery :)
