It has been a day.

A very long day. Today at about 5:30am my phone began to ring, on and off. I managed to ignore it till about 6:30 where I finally get to it to see it's a cab company (missed the call, saw the number), WTF, I notice my roommates guest was no longer on the couch and surmised she had tried to call cab, and that she was likely at the wrong entrance and he was trying to contact her)

After a minute to see if she returns I decide she caught the cab and to head back to bed. Then the phone rings again, some guy (apparently the girls BF) is on the other end of the line cursing and swearing at me about how I disrespected him or some shit, I politely tell him fuck off I have no fucking clue what he's talking about.

Then as I try to head back to bed the girl returns, she missed the cab and needs to call them back, no problem, this time she waits on the road side (it was cool last night she had waited in the entrance before). Awesome, time to get some sleep.

Phone rings yet again, I pick it up, it's the BF again. For fucks sakes I tell him (once again politely) I have no clue what the hell he's talking about, how the hell did he get my number and what the fuck do I care about his relationship insecurities. He demands to talk to the girl, I say she's likely caught a cab, but I'll check so i drag my ass outside to find her still waiting and hand the phone off, just as the cab arrives, she tells him multiple times the cab is here and she needs to hang up so she can go, and hands the phone back. Now he's harassing me about whether she actually got in the cab, and where the hell did she sleep/go last night. I say yes, couch and party. He pries a bit but eventually realizes I'm not going to give him the answer he wants.

BF is now confiding his life story to me, meanwhile prying at perceived depression on my end (it's fucking an hour before I have to wake up, and I got to sleep late the night before, of course I'm not at my 100%). Next thing I know he's my best friend, and the conversation drags on the better part of 40 minutes

Attempt to sleep my remaining time, fall flat faced onto my bed, smash my nose into my guitar and cut myself on a string.

Roommates phone rings, ensuing conversation appears to be with BF of girl who has left.
I give up on sleep and head to work
[08:30]-[16:30]
Work bagged as hell, come home chill, eat then go to hang at a friends place.

Having had some good conversation, a joint and a couple of beers (course of 5ish hours) head home with roommate.

Spot driver with rear passenger tire on it's rim, as i pass I decide to slow down and maybe offer some assistance, he then blows past and a security company car pursues, curiosity piqued, I follow.

The car I'm following reaches an estimated 140km/h going down into the river valley, I keep my speed down as road conditions are shit, but as he hit's the hill out of the valley hi car slows down, I overtake him and start to match him. My roommate is now on the phone with 911 keeping tabs on position.

The vehicles is forced to stop at an intersection with opposing traffic, I pull my vehicle in front of his broad side as close as possible, the security car blocks his back, a curb his left and truck that joined us his right.

The vehicle attempts to ram us. Well he hits us, but with two feet to accelerate, and only one gripping drive wheel (old Pontiac I believe), it's more of a nudge, he then backs up and looks at me, I shrug and let him turn off, and continue pursuit.

He attempts to shake us by pulling a U Turn at the next break int he median, that failing he attempts one more this time into oncoming traffic, I see the polices lights now they are in a position to overtake him and i drive away, stopping at the local cop shop (which was actually closed) to wait to fill a witness report.

Cops have him, we wait about 20-30 minutes to issue our statements

Give my statement t the police who give me a copy so that I can get a collision report for insurance purposes

Realize cell is left at friends place, head back

Leave friends house once again, arrive home at about 03:30, compose this post.
