Doctors and love of needles

Had to go to the doctor's today (always fun) and while I was there, he said that because of the bloodwork I had done, he could see two choices: One, wait four to six months and have a bone marrow biopsy to see if my high white cell count was preleukemia; or have one now and not wait.  I decided not to wait and so, I am sitting in front of a computer on one hip while the other's screaming at me "WHY?"  Needless, to say, didn't go to work.
