An Epiphany

Was reading on the Miniature Horse Forum today because I was bored at work and found a topic on global warming. Some of the people believed in it and some didn't, with variations in between. Several people stated that they didn't know much about it to know what's really going on or what to do to make a difference. A direct quote said, "Doesn't get to the point of what that means to us as individuals." This is exactly why I want to enter the program at Columbia. I want to help people know the answer to this question.

Then I started having ideas. About how people get information or better yet how people listen to information. I could someday tour nationwide and give talks to all different kinds of people. I could be as detailed as researching the specific town I was visiting and offer specialized ways for them to be greener in their specific town. And then I thought about Lauren doing the documentary on the Russia trip. What if we BOTH went around the country and taped people's response on how they feel. Not exactly Al Gore, but similar. That could be cool. Oh ideas.
