Ooooookay..
As of today, I:
*have signed a lease for September for a place on Tower Road
*have registered for classes, and am in Abnormal Psych with Andrea
*have applied for a student loan
*am done working at Treats
Though, I wonder if I even mentioned Treats in the past... I'm working at The Two Sisters, and the hours I'm getting there now are more than enough, but a few weeks back I got a job at Treats in Scotia Square Mall. I hate it. So I'm leaving. Seems pretty simple!
The Two Sisters job is great. I love the people I work with, the job is easy, the pay is okay, and the hours are great. What more could I ask for? Plus it's only a 15-minute walk from home.
Dad and Laurie will be here in 9 days! Woo-hoo! I'm so excited for them to see my place, and come into my work, and meet Joe, and Bear, and just to hang out and relax with them... It'll be GREAT!! :)
So, for the sake of my sanity, I decided not to respond to Steves post in my guestbook (as petty as it was), and I'll say this: Thomas and I dated, and we're not dating anymore. I didn't mention any other exboyfriends in my bio, why would I mention him? And anyway, I hear he's moved to Toronto to be with his girlfriend. I'm thrilled that he's left this place, and people like you. He's better than this.
Now that that's been said, I'm starting to become more and more excited for school in September. I'll be at Dal, in a class with Andrea, living with Joe, in the city I love. I'm only in three classes as it stands now, but with good reason. This year I'm taking my support sciences and some first-year nursing courses, so that next year I can start the nursing program. Andrea and I talked about it, and we figured out that it's not really worth taking a whole other course just to take 4 or 5 courses. Three is all I need, three is all Student Loans want, three is all Dal wants to consider me a full-time student, so three is all I'll take. Though, if it happens to work out, I'll be taking Biochem too. Then my first year nursing program will be easy as pie.
