the Hamster Hamptons

About two days ago, I noticed that Roxy looked unhappy in her tank home. She looked antsy like she wanted to get out. Everytime we took her out, she wanted to explore everywhere! Then we put her back into her cage and she's pissed. She kept trying to climb up her waterbottle and since it provided us with hours of entertainment, we filmed a movie of it:

Oh and we took a few pictures of her as well:

this is her sleeping with her face wedged in between two very high piles of her bedding...isn't she adorable?

So we felt bad for her and decided to get her another cage. We started out getting just one but seeing as she squeezes through the tubes and the actual cage was smaller than her other one, we went out and bought another one with two tubes connecting them in the middle:

so this is her new home. it comes complete with two glow in the dark balls at the top with two cubby areas to sleep in.

Left cage (second one we bought):
-"360 ball" that spin in of itself but also rotates around as well.
-an eXcitement slide
-water bottle
-treat bowl
-various tubes to run around and explore

Right Cage (first one we bought):
-regular hamster ball on the top that can disconnect so she has something to run around in while we're cleaning the cage
-regular food bowl
-water bottle
-various tubes to climb up and explore as well.

she absolutely loves it! she squeezes like a centipede through the tubes and runs in her ball all night long. It's all fine and dandy as long as she doesn't bring food into it and tries to spin like last night. Kept us up!!! I know i know, we spoiled her, but she's just so cute!
