So i woke up today at 7:30am only to be panicked with a half-asleep drive to martinez to drop my mom off at work after my brakes went out last night near the same area. Therefore i must drive my mom's car like a parent-dependent child. Highway Patrol/Police Men (don't know which) followed me all the way down Pacheco, rendering me even more panicked. I stayed the speed limit, i minded the "school zone 25 mph" sign and even sped up to 35 when it came down to it...case in point, i conquered/pwned that legal piece of metal with dormant plastic red/blue lights. 1337!
yesterday/last night, i hung out with emma. I had a good time! first we hung out at her grandma's apartment and talked about things that happened while she was residing in Washington. Then we went over to my house so that she could figure out the concept of adding music to her 3-month-old iPod. With no luck, we called max since he possesses the same iPod, software, and cords. We went over there and yet again, my logic reigned over his. Found out the wonderful Hollywood Video fired Max and waited two weeks of no working hours to finally tell him. Oh, how Hollywood Video works and cares! We got a pretty good-size amount of songs finally onto her iPod as CJ sat there in the "Ab Lounge 2" spitting out profanities over his cell phone to sean. QUOTE: "We need to get CJ a censor...something to beep every time he swears". I'm sure that irritated CJ just a little bit.
After Max's, Emma/CJ/I went to Crystal's house for a little indulgence in illegal substances. Emma ended up knowing Crystal from a dance studio a while back. They reminisced about the hideous costumes and the teachers. It was fun. We left kind of quickly since CJ wanted to pick up his money from his uncle after two days of hard/tedious work. As we did that, I realized the resistance of my car brakes was becoming more slack. I could press my foot fully on the brake pedal and then the brakes would start working. CJ ended up driving home, saying, "this is bad, this isn't good, we should jump-start the Buick". I decided he just wanted to drive the Buick.
Getting extremely hungry, the three of us went to Chef Burger only to have good food and delicious peach tea. Emma made me laugh until I had tears running down my face and thats when i though "i'm finally really, really happy". We dropped off Emma at her grandma's apartment and then went to Antioch to pick up some drugs. CJ and I smoked half an eighth last night and passed out after the five-inch-long joint was finished. So now I'm exhausted.
It was amazing to have Emma back. She never ceases to amazing me. When I predict she will act a certain way or not agree with something, she ends up adjusted really well and I have no worries. We talked like six months apart weren't behind us or that our lives were completely different - i, depressed and feeling like my life was ending - her, partying and have fun. I enjoy having her around. I enjoy her company. I love the way she makes me feel and how I know she'll take care of me. She's my best friend and I finally have her back.
