Happy Belated Birthday!

We frequently ask ourselves 'Remember before the child, when we could go out and DO things, see friends, act in plays, etc???'

As a fellow single person in a somewhat similar situation, I would have to agree that it sucks. While we are in different positions in our lives, I find myself constantly surrounded by people who are paired up. Some are married and a few do have children. This makes them almost nonexistent. The hard part is being the third wheel in everything I do. I mean, tonight for instance, I went out to dinner...with two couples. I am the odd man out; always. I understand the want of a significant other and being unable to find anyone; to be surrounded by friends, yet you just can't find that one person that you find attractive that also finds you attractive. It is frustrating, and though I am not at the point in my life where I would want to settle down like you perhaps, I know how it is to not have someone to kiss and snuggle with, to eat dinner with, and to just be there when you need them.
