This year, I've created tin can walkers and stilts for our Cub Scout Den. We have a meeting tomorrow, and the theme is Japanese culture. To that end, the scouts will be using chopsticks to eat Swedish fish and learning to walk on
geta. Of course I have to make the darn things. I've made three sets the size of the twins' feet, and one for me. The Eskimo's is cut out, but not assembled. I've even twisted the cord myself.
Walking on them isn't as bad as I thought. They're meant for squishy ground, so carpet works better than tile. Pictures forthcoming.
