Oh, dear; some of these have been open an embarrassing length of time.
Getting lost in buildings: Architecture can bias your cognitive map. I rarely get disoriented or lost in unfamiliar surroundings - about the only time I have a difficult time keeping track of my route back home is if I'm in a car as a passenger. But I have definitely experienced the confusion that comes when different floors of the same building are laid out too differently from one another (though I think I am bothered more by subtle differences than major ones).
Review of the TSA X-ray backscatter body scanner safety report: hide your kids, hide your wife. From various sources, a good write-up from a biochemist working in the field of biophysics. Fuck those lying assholes who claim "oh this all perfectly safe, don't worry!" and fuck the entire anti-terrorism fear industry.
Art! I really love the weird, surreal pen and ink drawings.
An oddly named clothing store. I really like the style of a lot of the clothing, but I have a major What the everliving FUCK?! regarding applying that name. I mean, really, what the hell has Buddhism really got to do with trendy clothing? Just because your pants are styled like yoga pants . . . just no.
Woo, I can just close the tab of the Arisia schedule!
And all the rest are things I need to just bookmark for myself.
