I haven't looked into this in any depth, but Weebly claims you can set up your own site with them, for free, even using your own domain (I suspect you still have to pay for the domain name yourself, but that's like $10 a year). It looks like the big benefit is a super-easy web design creation program, based on drag-and-drop.
No clue about whether there are limits to how much data you can store for free with them. Or other aspects. ETA: What I get for skimming too fast - the link I posted does say there are no limits on storage or bandwidth. And no ads. So. /end ETA But at a first glance it looks easy and functional. Not to mention free.
