(no subject)
Hi folks. Thanks to everyone for responding to my last post. I'm stoked. So, the Vashon update:
Getting there:
There will be five of us driving there from the Tacoma side, Keith from Seattle, and Bobby cycling from Tacoma. So, the five of us (Stark, McCoy, Lilah, Allison, and me) can ferry over in one car on the 2:40 boat. But coming back is slightly tricky, as it will be an 8:35 ferry, and thus, getting dark for cycling. But, no worries indeed. The plan continues ... so there is a parking lot on the Tacoma side that one can park in for free for the day. So I'm thinking we take two cars to Tacoma, park one and drive one on the ferry. Then we come back, and those going to oly go with me and those going to puyallup go to puyallup w/ my hook-on-the-trunk bike rack. The question lingers: McCoy, would you and Ethel (did I spell Miss Reliant K correctly?) be down for the parking/puyallup side of this plan? If so, golden; if no, I'll keep the gears rolling and come up with plan-b. Also, as far as food goes, how about barbequeing garden burgers and chicken? Fruit. Drinks. Etc. Yumm... can't wait.
