Hi everyone -- I have something of an incomplete theory, and I'm looking for ideas/feedback.

I've been rereading the series [backwards, actually] and I had a thought. Phineus Nigellus [I'm almost positive that's spelled wrong, I apologize profusely, my books are 200 miles away in my dorm] was an important headmaster of Hogwarts and because of this, he has two portraits, one in the Headmaster's office, and one in Grimmauld Place.

Now, who has had more influence over Hogwarts than Dumbledore? It stands to reason that he'll have two [or more?] portraits, one in the Headmaster's office, obviously, and one [if not more?] somewhere else.

I had a notion that he would have a portrait hanging in the Ministry of Magic, and that Harry would have to battle Voldemort there and Dumbledore's portrait would help him out. After thinking about it more, I realized that because of Dumbledore's rift with the Ministry, he would almost certainly not have his portrait there.

I then thought about Grimmauld Place. It seems like the next logical place, but Dumbledore really has no connection to it except for being the Secret Keeper for the Order. So I don't think that's really feasible either.

So that's my theory and my question. I think it's safe to assume that DD is going to have a portrait somewhere else besides Hogwarts but where? Any and all comments appreciated =D
