- The author notes on the FF posting that she does not consider the fic as edited there (to conform to FF copyright standards) to be "the same" one she intended to write. - This fic has multiple themes it fits, including crossover, adoption, vampires (though I don't know whether there are any vampire!HPcharacters). There may be more, but I haven't read it, so I can't say (crossovers are a squick of mine! Though maybe this rec will make me broaden my own horizons).

Squicks: Rape, Torture
songquake's Review: Amazing exploration of the aftermath of torture, rape, Stockholm Syndrome. While I typically avoid rape/non-con like the plague, the story being about psychological recovery drew me in. Any eroticism the rapes have are problematized. Characterization is amazing.

Squick: fat admiration / feederism
Summary: Harry's a bit heavier when he comes back to Hogwarts after the Christmas holidays.
Despite including one of my bigger squicks, this story was fascinating and very erotic. The characterisation and interaction is stunningly accurate and close to canon, and even though Vaysh labeled this as "PWP" herself, it has a lot more to it. Still a unique fic in my library.

Summary: “Two orgasms and Harry's hand resting tentatively on his hip and Draco still felt wound tight, aching somewhere too deep to rub away.”
D/s and bondage really are squicks of mine, but this fic made it work. A very interesting, both dark-ish and lightly sweet glance at Draco's odd obsession and Harry's cautious indulging.
