First off, apologies to everyone for forgetting to post a theme yesterday;
Everyone has squicks, even those of us who are open to almost anything. Many of us also have things we thought we could never tolerate that turned out to be wonderful.

Title: Nothing Left to Hold
Author: Branwenn777
Pairing: Edward Cullen/Harry Potter
Rating: m
Link: http://www.fanfiction.net/s/4992277/1/Nothing_Left_To_Hold
Summary: The Dursleys were not Harry's only remaining relatives, as it turns out Cullen happens to be an ancestral name in the Potter line, and when the Dursleys abandon Harry in an orphanage at the age of seven Carlisle agrees to take Harry in and raise him. Harry receives his Hogwarts letter at the age of eleven though, and while his family moves to Forks, Harry attends Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in Scotland. Harry writes regularly and for every summer, holiday, free weekend, and family event he comes home to them, but after Harry goes back to Hogwarts for his sixth year things begin to change. His letters become shorter, calls become less frequent, and he seems to always have an excuse not to visit. It seems as if Harry is cutting himself off from them, and none of the Cullens can figure out why. It isn't until the end of Harry's seventh year that he finally comes home to them, and what he's been hiding from them could tear their family apart.

- The author notes on the FF posting that she does not consider the fic as edited there (to conform to FF copyright standards) to be "the same" one she intended to write. The fic as she meant it to be is available on her website: http://quoththeraven.110mb.com/index.php?p=1_32_Crossover-HarryPotter-Twilight
- This fic has multiple themes it fits, including crossover, adoption, vampires (though I don't know whether there are any vampire!HPcharacters). There may be more, but I haven't read it, so I can't say (crossovers are a squick of mine! Though maybe this rec will make me broaden my own horizons).
