Blues is my favorite color
My dad got a deal through his office, they had a bunch of Ford Taurus SEs with automatic/power everything for crazy low prices. Three were already taken and there was a red '02 model and a blue '03 model left. Since the '02 is cheaper ($5.7k compared to $7k-ish) and has less mileage, that's the one he got for me.
Red's a butt ugly color, but the thing is, "patriot blue" isn't much better either. Ford is just butt like that. Nothing in navy blue, aka best color in the world. And the stupid shift is behind the stupid steering wheel instead of below my right elbow where it oughta be.
But hey, remote entry and cruise control.
There's also this '04 Toyota Prius -- read: HYBRID -- for $17k (the very reason we didn't buy it, which is RIDICULOUS because my dad said he'd buy me a new car so I won't feel like crap coming to Iowa), and in a nice lime green/turquoise ish color too, aka second best color in the world. Follow the color spectrum and green comes after for the 3rd best color in the world, which used to be #1 when I was a kid. But of course blue is cool.
I'm forseeing orange to be next, what with Trident: Tropical Twist and orange Gatorade (without that nasty Yellow 5!) and mandarin oranges and all. But probably just not in a car.
