Fanfiction only - no other medium considered for these awards.
"Harry Potter" fanfiction only - no Crossovers. Alternate Universes are allowed though (see Rules page for definition - scroll down).
You can only nominate 1 STORY per CATEGORY per SHIP/GROUP. A story can be nominated in multiple Categories (the same story can be nominated for Best Romance, Best Smut, and Best Comedy, for instance), but you only get to fill the slot for that Category with ONE nomination. If you need examples, please see this post (scroll down). No do-overs or take-backs, so be sure of your nominations before submitting them.
Anonymous fics are accepted - If a fic is part of a fest that is currently on-going and the fest posts these fics with no author names revealed because it is an anonymous fest, you can definitely nominate those stories. Please put 'anonymous' where the author's name would be. Once the fest reveals the author names, we'll update the list for you with the corrected information.
Do not nominate your own fics. Cheaters who are caught doing this will be permanently banned from the awards.
The only stories that can be submitted for Nomination for the Spring/Summer 2014 Round had to have been COMPLETED between October 29, 2013-October 28, 2014. Stories could could have been started at any time, but the final chapter (not an author's note, but the actual last chapter of the story) must have been originally submitted to the public between these dates.
Remember that relationship types for the various Ships/Groups are not limited to romantic or sexual ones! They can be any of these, too: relatives (by blood or marriage), friendship, rivals or enemies, a mentorship, co-workers, forced partners, customer/client, Housemates at Hogwarts, living together or nearby each other, sharing a common interest/hobby/condition, on an adventure together, co-dependence, hurt/comfort, prisoner/captor, healer/patient, or even an accidental run-in.
Nominations close on October 29, 2014 at midnight PST.
