Valentines Day!

Happy Valentines Day to everyone!!

G came in the house holding some roses and handed them to me saying "Happy Valentines Day momma". It was so cute.

Don't you hate it when you think of all kinds of stuff you want to post in the morning, but then forget by the time you go to post. Here goes what I remember...

I have recently discovered podcast. Love them!!! Right now I subscribe to a few. One is recap show of The Office, and two are from BBC Radio 1. I use to listen to BBC Radio 1 on Sirius before Rich shut it off. Now I can at least listen to the highlight shows. Rich just subscribed me to a Kevin Smith podcast too.

Allison continues to amaze everyday! She is almost sitting on her own. She loves her feet! Last night she figured out that she could sit, lean it and get her big toe in her mouth. Tonight she was blowing raspberries for the first time. It was so cute!!! We have finally found food that Allie will eat. The last two nights I have put some banana in one of those mesh things. She loves nawing on it. Monday night she slept through the night, but not last night. Let's hope she starts making it a habit soon.

Garrett is just blossoming. He speaks in full sentences now. I can't believe the things he comes up with. Sometimes we just sit and laugh at him. This week has done better at going to bed on time.

Tonight Rich went out to shovel the drive way. It is the first time in like a week he has done it. It was part ice and a mess. For some reason he decided to back the explorer out of the garage and got it stuck in a drift. Luckily the neighbor across the street came over w/ this snowblower and helped him. He even cleaned off our drive way. Tomorrow Rich is buying him a gas card. I will make him a thank you card and some cookies. Sometimes my hubby can be a hillbilly. He did grow up in Allendale :)

My lease on the beloved snow plow/ explorer :) is up in July. However we will run out of miles in early May. So the search is on for a new something for me to drive. We started off looking at mini- vans. I don't like the Ford and am not a huge fan of the GM's. Rich isn't a Chrysler fan so that was out. Because my dad works for the UAW thatwas the end of the mini van search. Next were the cross overs. I fell in love with the new Saturn Outlook. It is a really nice vehicle. The problem is, it is a big car. And because it is so new there are no deals on these. So that got me thinking.. .Maybe we should just the Chrysler minivan. Technically it is the same price, but there are rebates and good financing on it, so it  could come in as much as $4 or $5 K cheaper. Plus, the sliding doors would be really nice in the garage. Rich isworried his car is going to get banged up from the doors hitting it.  What are your thoughts? I wold love to know...

Ok, that is enough for now... I injuried myself today, but that is another story for another post.
