Indian Summer

I'm here at work... it is gorgeous out. The temp is near or at 80-degrees. The temp inside the store seems to be much higher thanks to the halogen spotlights. It's quiet in here... so quiet you can here an ant break wind in the stock room.

I have my "To-Do" list... or as the ladies refer to as a "Honey Do:" list...

-Call customers with updates on orders
-Mail out promotional info to existing customers..
-Get measurements on dining piece for "Jane Doe"
-Call to confirm housecalls...
-Vacuum

The last to-do... vacuum... is in regards to the cleaning lady who does not know how to use our new vacuum cleaner. It is one of those Intelli-Clean systems that spots dust and dirt and tells you when to stop and let it clean it up. Rather interesting, but she does not know how the hell to use it. So the owner of our store was in this morning and she asked me to vacuum the store. That's fine... it keeps me occupied. I also found some other things to do since Wednesday is normally a slow day.

I cannot really do any heavy lifting because I gave blood last night and I was told not to do any heavy lifting for a couple of days. This prevents me from hanging the hand-knotted rugs back onto the racks... those bastards are heavy!

Other than that.. It's nice out, and I wish I was outside and not inside.

Sigh.

Have a wonderful day everyone!
