So I reckon you've already read the papers and already died of apoplectic shock, before Granger was forced to revive you. I know if you haven't read about it you know about it at least. Don't think just because I didn't give you the requisite sneer at Diagon, I didn't see you. I just had more important matters to attend to than wasting my time greeting no-hopers.

Draco surveyed the letter. It was short, suitably scathing and true enough. He didn't mention that he didn't consider the pardon to be all that great. He shuddered to think of certain Death Eaters let free on society. But, then, Potter didn't need to know that. He leaned over and affixed the scroll to his eagle owl's leg, sending it off into the night.
