I also pimped the community in every pimp or icon comm I could find. I revamped our affiliates list, and I made the new layout to function better for HiH members (since it would be more incentive for them to visit).
It's already paying off. In the past week we've gained 21 new members so far!
Do you have a hogwartsishome ambassador? If not, maybe you could advertise. Maybe even talk to the Moderator there and see if she can back it up with a points incentive for the person who takes it up. We don't hear all that much about Stillness at HIH.
I used to be a member myself but I went on hiatus for so long that I decided to just leave the community.
It's a really good idea and I wish I could have an ambassador from each house. I'll ask the mods, but to be honest, I don't think they would offer points to help me out because while I am affiliated with them, I'm not really part of the HiH family. Also, besides sending them points once a month I have no contact with them. I've asked them questions before when sending points in and they never respond to me. But who knows.
Maybe I could get some volunteers to remind people in their houses about current challenges and that they get points for participating.
I don't think I have any Slytherins or Gryffindors participating at all though... so I would need to find a couple that would be willing.

wow. nice work! just wanted to say that although i am a member, and wish i could actively participate, sometimes i just can't find the time to make some icons and get them entered. i'm not trying to excuse myself or anything, but i'm just letting you know my situation, and i'm sure it's the same for some other people as well. thanks for being such a great mod though! without you, there wouldn't be near as many members here, so thanks for all the hard work, it is appreciated!
i'm going through a small depression right now, along with computer problems, so i've not been in the mood to make stuff :( i've not even opened my grahpics programs in a week, and that's a record!! D:

Oh, no worries! I don't want you to feel pressured to participate when you just aren't feeling up to it. I just want to let everyone know that I'm trying my best.
