How did you feel about how the films represented the book's iconic moments? Any disappointing omissions?

Well, no one walked forward simultaneously and hugged, but they hugged twice when they first saw each other (6/7), so it wouldn't have had the impact.

And I could have done with a bit more I love her like a sister.

I'm mostly just glad that the forest-scene was pretty close to perfect. Some little things that bothered me with the changes but they're always expected..

I just wish we'd had more of Ginny/Neville/Luna. I actually thought they got most of the big moments right (apart from Hermione deciding to jump on the dragon JFC Kloves) although I did miss Ron punching Draco and yelling "That's twice we've saved your life tonight, you bastard!" Most disappointed with Voldemort's death - lack of Harry taking him apart piece by piece and him shattering into tiny obviously-filmed-for-3D pieces. I loved that Part I wasn't 3D, it worked so much better. Nevertheless, I was fairly satisfied.
