Muggle world
Name : Laura E.
Age: 18, born 11/11
Gender: Female
Location: Rhode Island, USA (leaving for college in NYC next month!)
Likes: Spending time with my friends, movies, music, animals, shopping, reading, the beach, Mountain Dew, and cities. Typical cliche teenager, I know.
Dislikes: Snoring, people who talk about their friends behind their backs, and bees.
Hobbies: Reading and watching movies, I guess? I just spend most of my time during the summer with my friends at the beach or in someone's pool.
Strengths: I pride myself on being a good friend - I'm loyal, forgiving, inclusive and empathetic.
Fears: BEES (although I swatted one off a woman's head the other day, so I'm getting better), and roller coasters with shoddy harnesses. lol.
Weaknesses: I've got a bit of a temper, I'm pretty stubborn, and really sensitive.
Favorite movies [no more than three]: The Departed, American Beauty... and I guess The Matrix. That's tough, only three.
Favorite books [no more than three]: Harry Potter, obviously. Also The Great Gatsby and 1984. I work part-time at a library lol.
Favorite singer/band: The Beatles are my all time favorite band, but among new bands, I LOVE The Killers.

In which house do you think you belong? Why? Gryfflepuff. I'm brave for my friends/family/myself when needed, but I can also be a total wimp before going, say, white water rafting. lol. I'm a bit of a mixture of houses, which is sort of Hufflepuff's main characteristic.
In which house do you think you don’t belong at all? Why? There really isn't a house I couldn't somewhat fit into. Slytherin would be the biggest stretch, I suppose, because I'd only be in the house because I have some ambition. Doesn't everyone, though?
In which class would you shine the most? Why? That's tough... Defense Against the Dark Arts, maybe? It just seems like the spells have practical applications, so I'd remember everything better.
Write a short paragraph about each of the following families [just state your thoughts on each of them]:
Malfoy: Horrible. They're manipulating, horribly prejudiced, and ALWAYS put themselves first.
Black: I dislike the Black family because, like the Malfoys, they are prejudiced and I really hate intolerance. HOWEVER, and it's a big however, Sirius is my all time favorite character. I really like Tonks as well.
Potter: After Sirius and Remus, James is my favorite. I admire his bravery, his faithfulness to the Order, and his friendship with Moony, Padfoot and Wormtail. Lily is obviously easy to love - she's kind, intelligent, and willing to make the ultimate sacrifice for her family. And how could you hate Harry? I love the Potters.
Weasley: Mr. and Mrs. Weasley are possibly the sweetest people in the entire series. They seem to be raising their family right, teaching them that it's important to stick together, and that there are far more important things than loads of galleons. I love the whole family, and I'm still hoping Percy will come around.
Remember the pensieve incident from book five? [Chapter #28: Snape’s worst memory] What are your thoughts about it? It's actually my second favorite chapter in the whole series. It's tough to read, because I love the Marauders so much and there is absolutely no excuse for their behavior towards Snape. At the same time however, I'm sure the bullying went both ways, and I can't write off MWPP for seeing one horrible incident from Snape's point of view. And in all honestly, I laughed. Some of James and Sirius' comebacks are great; they're both so quick. Doesn't make it right, but it's not exactly like Snape's Nice Person of the Year either.
In these hard times with a new war ahead, where are your loyalties? With Dumbledore and the Order, of course.
