I can not explain how or why, but I am here. I did not seek you out when I first returned because I was told you were with our Capella. I did not wish to startle either of you. You do not need to seek me out immediately or at all. Perhaps there is nothing left to say. Rest assured I have no intention of tempting you away from your family again. I wish you and yours nothing but good things. However, if you find you must see me, you always know how to find me. Be well my dragon.

He must have read the letter a hundred times. His eyes scanned every inch of it over and over again the handwriting that was as familiar to him as his own, the long tail of the 'y' at the end of her name, the way Pansy's writing always seemed to explode off the page as if something as simple as parchment couldn't contain her.

When he'd first seen the envelope he assumed it was another letter from before she died although he couldn't imagine what else there was to say. But the words 'I am here' stopped him. Stopped his heart, stopped time and the earth on its axis. When he found himself breathing again, Draco realized that with all the people who had returned that it made sense Pansy would come back ten years later. After all, no one told Pansy Parkinson what to do or when to do it.
And yes, he had to see her. He needed to see her. Pansy.
He did know where to find her.
