Where 12 Grimmauld Place
It never crossed Rose's mind that Lily might have been coy when she didn't answer her question by owl. She knew her cousin well enough: besides being so closely related and the families being so close - they had been in the same house while together at school. Lily Potter was not coy.
However, it got her even more worried. Yes, a lot of things could be the reason for a face-to-face conversation, rather than written notification. But a lot of them... A lot of them meant things that Rose didn't think she would like.
Even less so in the context of Scorpius as good as writing that he was leaving for good.
When she finished work, she patronused Lily so that she knew she was coming shortly, then quickly stepped into a shop to get something sweet for her cousins. It was her habit when she called to bring something in, ever since she'd started working. Sounded about right too, what with all the presents that uncle Harry and aunt Ginny had brought to her through the years.
To fight fear, act. To increase fear - wait, put off, postpone. For one reason or another, she needed to repeat that to herself, over and over again like a mantra. Even though she didn't know what she had to fear...
She was anxious.
Right. Let's go.
Rose took a deep breath and apparated to 12 Grimmauld, then knocked on the door.
