Let them come, he thought as he unsheathed his wand, because he would be ready.

It felt like he was staring at the battle of Azkaban all over again but it was he was staring at through different eyes.
This was what they were fighting for after all, wasn't it?
A kingdom of corpses.
Lucius spotted Frank and smirked.
Still...there was time to have some fun.

"Malfoy" he said, his voice cool. His eyes caught that of his wife's, a silent question there. He knew that Alice would no doubt still love him and that made things difficult even though he wanted with all his being to really hurt Malfoy.

And he'd really hate to widow Alice so soon after she found Frank again. "Let's make this easy on you. Three seconds. Take Alice and run."

"You've chosen your path, Lucius. And I've chosen mine. Three Two One. Time's up, do your worst."
Not that it wouldn't shatter her to hurt him or be hurt by him.
Wand up.

Her eyes were scanning, searching.
She knew that with as much as was at risk this time, she could fight anyone to the death.
Anyone.

But she was furious. She thirsted pain. She thirsted revenge. She thirsted making people scream. She thirsted to know who'd done it, but was not particular on who was going to suffer.
"Would you like another taste of pain, Longbottom pretty? Or, shall we say, something more permanent this time? Sectumsempra!" Then with a small smirk on her lips, fight well with this, Auror girl, "Muffliato!"

She didn't scream. Didn't even whimper. There was something to be said for years of silence.
"Obscuro! Duro!" she cast quckly, not even slowed down by her bleeding, nor by the buzzing. She didn't need to hear the bitch to cast at her.

Her eyes alert for other attacks, Alecto waited a moment for Alice to notice. To turn to her. For the eyes widening in fear.
Oh fighting for her Lord brought pleasure...

Old or not, Augusta was fast, tossing hexes when she needed to to get across the room. Close enough. She pointed her wand at Alecto. "STUPIFY!" she said, her voice cold and steady.

A grimace of enjoyment was fixed on her face. A fury in full power, her lips pulled back to a feral revealing of her teeth as she sent a curse to help oldie Longbottom 'home'.
"Avada Kedavra." And she did mean it, of course. Simply.

Augusta wasn't stupid, by any means. "Protego Horribilis," she said, blocking the killing curse and moving out of the way at the same time. "You'll have to try harder, Carrow," she sneered, advancing on the woman.
Alice took the chance again, her wand pointed at Alecto, her voice louder than normal thanks to the buzzing in her ears. "Duro!"

Alecto took another step back and away, and strengthened her shield charm, the smirk not leaving her face. Her eyes blazing now, she shot in rapid succession a Crucio and Langlock at the older woman, then a Sectumsempra aimed at the inner side of the calves and knees of the younger one.

"Stupify! he shouted loudly, his wand aimed at Alecto. She would not hurt his family, none of them would, not again.

She loved that one. Leave the target helpless, but aware. To see what is happening.
Only thinking of it almost wiped the smirk off her face. Brother...
