Whoa! There is so much in this that my mind can't focus long enough to comment thoroughly. It's poetic, lush and swirling.
I feel taken in a wave of imagery and sensory overload but in a good way. I love that at Dumbledore's death and Snape's apparent betrayal he thinks of Sirius(and doesn't notice Tonks or what a fool she makes of herself.)
And I love Sirius tasting of apples. And love that Remus can smell and taste him all the time. Painful though...

Just caught up on scarvesnhats, the first prompt was a crate full of apples on a bench, totally made me think of this fic and as far as I read no one there did as much with their apples as you did here. :)

I think Sirius would taste of apples. That's my thought anyhow. Caramel too, because doesn't that just go together? =)
