Title: Halloween Mix-Up
Pairing: Harry Potter/Draco Malfoy

Summary: There's a masquerade ball on Halloween and Harry is attending. Having had no idea how the evening might play out, he's more than surprised at what he's getting.

Harry froze when he suddenly heard Draco Malfoy speak behind him, "Have you seen Pansy hitting on Weasley? I'm torn between saving her from herself and watching it play out."
Harry stood still, hoping his panic wouldn't show behind the mask. Draco had obviously mistaken him for someone else or he wouldn't be talking to him. Briefly, he considered pointing out the mistake, but being so close to Draco was exhilarating. He'd wanted to make a move all year, but had been too chicken to do anything about his crush.
"Shall we go and grab some punch?"
Harry nodded, still scared stiff, and followed Draco along.
An hour later, the party had wound down and Draco was still none the wiser. He had insisted they go outside because he 'couldn't stand watching Pansy sloppily snogging Weasley' any longer. Frankly, neither could Harry.
Steeling himself for the moment he'd have to give up this masquerade, Harry exhaled.
"Are you finally making a move then, Potter?"
Harry turned to look at Draco wide-eyed and found him so close that their noses were almost touching. "I-"
"Oh, shut up." And Draco kissed him. Just like that. It was Harry's best Halloween yet.
