The second round of hp_emofest is about to start, so here are the new and improved rules. Make sure to read them carefully as we've changed quite a lot :)

Sorry, I'm a bit new when it comes to anonymous fests. Anyways, my Q: Will the Prompt and Self-idea writers will have their names revealed in the end as well?

Yes :) There will be a Big Reveal at the end of the fest. We're just keeping everything anonymous at the beginning to make it more interesting ;)

No, underage participants can definitely participants; it's just so they won't receive NC-17 fics. But hey, if you're 17, it's okay if you do want to receive NC-17 :) Just answer the question with yes and it's fine.

I've discussed it with my co-mod and we think it should be all right :) It's art, so... Sure. It's probably not a good idea for the Anonymous Exchange option, so you could just sign up using the 'prompt and your own idea' template :D

I got a quick question. When you say to send it and title it USERNAME writing for USERNAME, what if you just want a prompt, what would you send it as then seeing as you're not writing for anyone in particular?

Oh, um... Just... "submission" or the title of the fic or whatever :)

Yes :) If you pick Anonymous Exchange, you send it as USERNAME writing for USERNAME, if you pick b) or c), you just name it Submission. Or better - "USERNAME - Submission".

The HTML codes should be in the document but if you're not sure how to code them, just leave the italics and I will code them since I'm going to read every submission before posting them anyway :)

If you choose c), you can send your submission as soon as it's finished :) But you should still fill out the sign-up template, so that I have a list of all the participants ;)

Question: I signed up for as an anonymous exchange author, but I already have a story that I've started working on for the fest. There's really no way to tell if the story will fall into place with the assignment I will receive, but I would really like to submit this story, regardless.

Is it possible to sign up for both the anonymous exchange and original idea?

Well, I haven't really thought about it but... I guess you can still submit the fic you're working on, if you manage to write two fics before the deadline. Since you signed up for Anonymous Exchange, your gift-fic has to be your priority, though. But yeah, I don't mind if you're sure you can do it :) In that case, just fill out the other template as well, so that I'll know how many fics to expect.
