Wizards among Muggles: 1981

And sorry for my poor English, I'm Russian-speaking.
I am writing a fic in which wizards appear in the Muggle world. It's 1981, that is it's crisis. Unemployment, etc. My wizards are pure-blood, that is they have no documents, no education, no Muggle money, I'm not sure they've ever seen a pound.
What is the way for them to survive? What job (maybe temporary) can they get? How difficult would it be for them to get it?
I realize that it depends on the region, but the region is discussable :) I need for them the possibility to survive but it mustn't be easy. So I'll be grateful for the different variants. Probably London is the worst fit because they must avoid wizards.
Two young men, about 20-23 years old. Physically strong enough but not athletes. Attractive enough but not very polite with Muggles :)
Well I forgot the important thing. They cannot use magic except for the extraordinary situations, for example saving their lives. That is they cannot show someone a sheet of paper telling it's a diploma.
