Engagement Questions
I looked through the dating and romance tag but didn't see this, so I hope it's not a repeat.
So basically in the AU fic I'm writing, I'm just wondering if there's a big difference in engagement procedure in the UK. It's the first marriage for my female character, but second marriage for Harry.
-How long would an average couple go out before getting engaged, especially if they're older (30s)?
-Would the guy propose with the ring, or would the get the ring after?
-Would permission be obtained from her parents?
-How long would the engagement last, before the wedding?
