I felt the same way about Project Linus when I first went, but what I didn't know then was that the fluctuates each month depending on what people have going on in their lives and I originally came at a pretty sparse time for them. So I've met quite a few ladies that I didn't meet originally that are pretty nice to be around. Also I've learned that the one lady that was so awkward and judgmental the first time I went (she was one of the three ladies I bumped into that invited me from the fabric store) is kind of awkward in general and apparently it's PL that has brought her out of her shell a bit, so I'm glad I stuck with it to meet some of the other ladies that weren't there at first. We've really grown quite a bit and that seeemed to start a little after I first went. We yarnies need at least two big round tables to sit at now! Quite a few of the quilters have stopped bringing their machines and bring their yarn and needles/hooks instead. They still make and bring quilts, they just don't drag their giant machines around with them anymore because yarn projects are just so much portable!
