Albus Dumbledore and Madame Pomfrey stood together in the infirmary, appraising a sixth year from Hufflepuff. Madame Pomfrey had just finished mending his bones, broken during a high fall from his broomstick.
“That’s the fifth one they brought in this week.”
Madame Pomfrey clucked her tongue and wagged her head. She turned to Dumbledore and began to chide him.
“You really should consider adding that to the beginning of term notices,” she said.
Dumbledore turned and looked at her with a familiar twinkle in his eye.
“Poppy, you’d think they’d know better than to try to snog on a broomstick.”
