Hermione wrinkled her nose dubiously, the runny ice cream dripping from her uplifted spoon.
“It’s great!” Harry enthused, oblivious to the pink smear on his chin, “Go on, Hermione!”
Ron scowled. No, Ron couldn’t possibly know anything about anything - only the assurance of The Boy Who Ate Ice Cream could convince Miss Bossy Britches to try anything new.
Hermione hesitantly took a bite.
Her eyes flew open in delight, like morning glory blooming, or a bird taking flight, afternoon sunlight making a frizzy halo of her hair.
“It’s delicious!” she beamed.
Ron swallowed, hard.
“Told you.”
