Notes: In honor of Jen, a Mary Sue. Takes place following the final battle.
He’d taken her to Yule Ball fifth year, but it was Summer Solstice before he asked her out again, so Angelina considered the 21st of June as their anniversary. Fred always claimed December 21st instead. It was a private disagreement, held mostly for their entertainment, but she could always count on one extra present under the tree just to prove his point.
Angelina let the wrapping fall from an obnoxiously patterned sweater and began to weep into it. If she had only let him win, she wouldn’t be left with an empty sweater awaiting an anniversary that would never come.
