“Looking for Ron?” Lavender asked sadly. “He’s over there, the filthy cheat.”
Harry looked at the corner she was indicating. There was a bushy haired girl and Ron Weasley, kissing so passionately and so close against each other it was hard to tell who was who.
A sob escaped from Lavender’s throat as she stormed out of the common room. Her spot was soon filled by a smiling Ginny.
“Hermione felt so awful about the Felix accusation… decided to give a nonverbal apology,” she giggled. “I bet you three galleons they’ll make it two days without a row.”
“You’re on.”
