Title: The Way it Really Ended

Author's Notes: This is what the epilogue should have been like. Still takes place 19 years later.
Draco smiled comfortingly at the man standing next to him.
“It'll be alright, love. We'll see him soon.”
“I know, but I've never been without him before.”
The blond turned to the handsome brunette beside him and pulled him in for a gentle kiss.
“You'll always have me.”
Harry smiled happily and ran his hand through his lover's full head of silky blond hair before pulling the man against him in an embrace and claiming his lips once more.
“And I love you.”
Together they turned to watch their adopted son board the train for his first year at Hogwarts.

Harry stared at the sight of Draco crying. He stood there, unsure.
Hearing a noise behind him, the blond turned around, an expression of hatred etched across his handsome features.
Harry's heart clenched at the sight and, acting on his hidden desires, launched himself at Draco and crushed the startled Slytherin into the wall behind him. With surprising gentleness after such an attack, he pressed his lips to those of the man before him.
Draco was too surprised to do anything at first, but he slowly opened his mouth to the Griffindor's questing tongue and returned the teen's hesitant embrace.
