“I’m still annoyed that we both die,” Sirius said, closing his copy of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows.
Remus shrugged. “It wouldn’t have been as dramatic a novel without the deaths of some popular characters.” He indicated the spacious flat. “And we were well-paid.”
“Yeah...” Sirius grinned. “We have Harry to thank for that book deal. Very generous of him, letting everyone share the royalties.”
“Indeed. Even Snape’s early retirement did him a world of good, and it wouldn’t have been possible otherwise.”
“I still don’t know why you keep in touch with that git,” Sirius said.
They bickered.
