"Sometimes I think I was wrong about you," said Ron thoughtfully one afternoon.
Pansy’s dark head peeked out from under the covers, and she smiled wickedly at him. "Why’s that?"
Ron shrugged. "Before…I kind of hated the idea of you. You were always around Malfoy - the foul git - and I thought, maybe, you were foul like him too."
Pansy sighed, saying, "You think too much into this, Weasley. You make too much out of…out of sex, really. It’s all it is."
Ron stayed silent, looking away.
Pansy sighed again, and said, "But sometimes it means more."
Ron smiled.

Characters: Harry, Ron, Hermione
Harry didn’t like to think of the past, but having a past so eventful, it made it hard to forget. Images were permanently burned into his memory, and would often revisit him in his dreams. It helped to remember - like when Neville died protecting him, or Hermione became permanently paralyzed because Harry couldn’t get to her in time. It had taken years to accept his life as it was: one constantly churning machine of turmoil.
That was before, and this was after. With Ron on his left, and Hermione in her wheelchair on his right, he felt at home.
