Characters: Rubeus Hagrid, Harry Potter
Rating: PG

“You know, maybe I’ve been the problem all along, Hagrid.”
“What in the bleedin’ name are you talkin’ ‘bout? Yer not to blame for anythin’ that’s ‘appened, m’boy. It was all because of some crazy bloke who couldn’t resist that temptation of power, ye know…”
Harry fell silent. His mind was reeling with the thoughts of chaos, death, resistance, pain, hate, and anger.
“Ye know, when I look at the stars, ‘Arry, all those troubles of mine flee. I just see my big ol’ self and…the rest of this huge world. There must be something keeping it together, ye know.”

Title: Tears That Can't Fall
Characters: Harry Potter
Rating: PG
Word Count: 100 according to Word
The young man was weeping bitterly, as he saw the bodies of his friends carried to their final resting places. His tears flowed more copiously when he spotted the largest of them all, Hagrid's lifeless form.
Hagrid fought to the bitter end, taking down seven Death Eaters with him. Harry could still see the surprise in Draco’s eyes as the Malfoy heir saw the ‘bumbling old fool’ kill his parents with a single blow.
Harry stood before his friends, fighting to keep his eyes dry. He had to look up to the clear starry sky to keep them from falling.

“Hagrid, you were right, it’s all in the stars...”Harry hoarsely whispered.
Hermione’s comforting hand squeezed his shoulders, urging him to go.
“Harry, you’ve been standing there all night. You need to get inside now,” she reminded him in a shaky voice.
“Hagrid was right, Hermione...I just needed to see the stars. I’m not the center of the universe...I’m just a wizard who would spend some time in this world-”
“Harry-”
“-while the stars watch on, as they’ve done for ages. There must be something keeping our world together, while evil tries to break it apart.”
“It’s love, Harry. Love.”
