“Listen here boy you will behave or else, understand!?” Harry gulps. Often his uncle screamed to control his nephew by fear, usually Harry just scoffed it off. Though when in public where others watch and observe the behaviors of all, which leads to gossip Harry knew that was the time to take threats seriously.
“I'll be good.” He responds, his uncle just mutters something he neither could or even wanted to hear. They walk down the crowded street, Harry trying to keep up it was almost if he were trying to pretend he didn't know the boy; actually Harry knew that was the case. Stops walking mutters his own words picked up by his cousin, turns around and enters a bakery shop. It was obvious uncle Vernon didn't want him along, why bother? Finding a seat at table, taking in the beautiful smells, wishing for pocket change; Dudley always had money for treats. Harry rests his chin down, eyes wide watching, almost feeling that he belonged.
“Boy you're dead!” Harry yelps as two hands yank him, shaking hard until his vision became doubled. The afternoon some how morphed into dusk. Trying to look at his uncle Harry gulps once more.
