Title: A Gift
House: Ravenclaw
Word Count: 100
Characters/Pairings: Antonin Dolohov, (Gabriel) Mulciber
Author's Notes: I really just like the pair of them, k?

“You remembered my birthday?” Antonin’s expression had blanked suddenly, plane of open shock.

“Obviously.” Mulciber’s tone wasn’t without an edge of irritation. He had offered the owl-Antonin had quite obviously missed his old one, his Anya-moments earlier, and wished to move on.

“Gabriel!” In a leap, Antonin had wrapped his arms around his none-too-thrilled comrade, nearly knocking him off-balance, grinning and… Gods, was he nuzzling? “Oh, Gabriel, I knew you cared!”

Had his arms not been pinned so awkwardly, Gabriel would have covered his face in his hands. As it was, he only gritted his teeth and waited.

Title: Shades
House: Ravenclaw
Word Count: 100
Characters/Pairings: Barty Crouch Sr., Jr.
Author's Notes: Je ne sais pas.

“Father.” It comes once as a whisper, drifting so lightly that the man feels he may reasonably ignore it.

‘Go to sleep. Merlin, can’t the boy just sleep?’

He cannot concentrate, does not even care for the papers on his desk. The work is now inconsequential, a ghost only of the days when he held all righteously, when power and command were his. When all was his.

Now he has only empty coldness.

“Faaaaaaather.” This time the voice brings the spectral sight, skin somehow glowing blue, eyes haunted and haunting.

It reminds the man too sharply that he has stumbled.
