Every night has an end, my friends. That time when we lower our glasses for the last time, retrieve our coats from the hallway and venture into the dark outside world in search of a place to sleep.
In these difficult times, endings are tainted with the sorrow of knowing that we may not meet again, that unaware we could be spending our final hours together. And yet we continue to comfort each other, helping one another find happiness in these dark days.
Remember this, if you will. We are named for the phoenix, the bird that never truly dies.
