Gently, he took her face in her hands, whispering, “When can I see you again?”
“I don’t know.” She replied, despairing, “My parents...”
He jerked slightly, “Screw your parents! What’s the worst they could do?”
Dryly, she replied, “Disown me, for starters.”
“So?”
She glared at him, “So I am only seventeen and I have no money.”
He tucked a stray lock of hair behind her ear, “I will take care of you.”
“What are you saying, Ted?” She asked quickly, eyes widening.
He dropped to one knee and clasped her hands to his heart, “Will you marry me, Andromeda?”

Eyes hooded, Snape replied, “What do you think?”
“Severus!” She snapped coldly, “Don’t talk to me like I’m your student.”
Sneering, he pushed back from the table and stalked over to her, “Then don’t pretend to be dense, Narcissa. You know damn well what I want.”
“Oh, Severus.” She sighed softly, “We can’t.”
Running his finger down her cheek, he whispered, “Why you choose to remain loyal to a man incarcerated is beyond me, love.”
“You don’t really want me anymore, Severus.” She pulled away from his touch, “Now, you just want the forbidden.”
