Voldemort circled the Weasley boy, intimidating, appraising.
“I’m given to understand you have a particular affinity with dragons,” he hissed.
Charlie nodded confidently. “I do.”
“Will you bring them to battle for me?” Consideration in his voice.
“Many of our own soldiers would die if I did. Dragons can’t be controlled, only coerced.” He turned, meeting the Dark Lord’s gaze unflinchingly. “Much like man, I would say.”
Angered, Voldemort leaned forward, his twisted face mere breaths from Charlie’s. “The others are nothing; I am all that matters. Bring the dragons.”
Charlie nodded once, eyes flashing. “As you wish, my Lord.”
