Title: Memory is Always Tainted
House: Ravenclaw
Words:100
Challenge: In Memoriam
Character: Horace Slughorn, out of all people

Memory is never an exact thing.
People always made out like things were better in their “good old days”.
Girls were prettier, products were cheaper, life was far more wholesome, and politicians were honest in their time, the older generation would tell the younger generation.
The older generation would take pride in their “good old days”. The younger generation would roll their eyes and think “how boring!”
Would shouldn’t he make his “good old days” look better? Horace Slughorn thought as he adjusted his memory of his reaction to the once promising (but now evil) Tom Riddle asking about Horocruxes.
