Title: Revisiting
House: Hufflepuff
Words: 100
Challenge: In memoriam
Character: Molly
She always waits until her husband is a work and the kids are all away. Activities like this need…discretion.
She dons her cardigan, picks up her wand, and slips out of the house.
It’s nothing. Just a little visit.
Long habit has taught her. Some things remain silent, hidden, even from loved ones. The fear is hidden, to protect the children. This, she keeps even from her husband.
Let them believe she’s “moved on.” Let them never understand.
Please, God, let them never feel a scrap of what she’s feeling, as she kneels at tomb of Gideon and Fabian Prewett.
